Problems (#1) - Invalid packet type (#95) - Message List

Invalid packet type
 unsolved

when i run wminput i get -"Invalid packet type" however the program runs just fine. Also, wminput -c ir_ptr runs fine too except for those annoying "Invalid packet type" messages that scroll infinitely down the screen.

How do I get rid of them? More specifically, I want to use libcwiid in development. What flag should I use to stop these error messages from printing to the screen?

I am running ubuntu 8.04.

    Did you compile from source or install the ubuntu packages? From my experience the ubuntu packages have always been broken and outdated. compiling from source is easy and takes only a few minuets.

          Are you using any unsupported (guitar, fitness board) extensions?
