You probably want to install wminput as well - that's the app that connects your wiimote to the input system.

yes but that doesn't answer my question

under windows to control my wiimote I start glovePIE the I open a script I made then I click on RUN

      what about linux?

        Check out browser:trunk/wminput/README.

        Short answer: run

        wminput

this returs : unable to open uinput

This is addressed in the README linked above - have you read it?

            • Message #24386

where is the readme? I don't see any link "above" from here

In my response from 5/12, 7:30, you should see it four responses "above" this one. browser:trunk/wminput/README

                  oh that's right, sorry

                  I create a file "config.txt" with very simple content : Wiimote.1 = KEY_A

                  then I ran this : wminput -c ~/config.txt

output : Erreur de segmentation, which would translate to english as "Segmentation fault"

                  any idea?

wminput looks for configuration files in certain places. You cannot give it a path to a configuration file.

You should read the browser:trunk/wminput/README that dsmith mentioned above. It also has this information in it.

You can create a the folder ~/.cwiid/wminput and put your configuration file there.

                    Then run: wminput -c config_to_use

I'm sure my file was correctly read because I had to correct it before the programm tries to interpret it : there was a syntax error

Now I will be idle for a little while because I can't access my kubuntu
