What is the wiimote PIN code ?
 unsolved

I used BlueZ to connect wiimote. But cannot connect wiimote, always got the message "permission denied" In the /etc/bluetooth/autopin.sh file, (I use this file as pin_helper) content is: echo "PIN:1234"

still cannot connect wiimote, i tried "0000", and "ERR"(for no PIN available), still permission denied. Can anyone help me with that problem ?

Thanks.

There is no PIN. Unfortunately, my knowledge of BlueTooth? is limited to the Wiimote, so I don't know how to help you. My first guess would be a file system permission problem.

But for another bluetooth device, its PIN code is "1234", and I set pin_helper to echo this PIN code. It works well, no permission denied error when I use connect...

If this is file system permission problem, other device must also report that error. How can I settle this down ?

Have you tried running as root?

          Definitely as root.

I tried other bluetooth remote control(NOT WIImote) that has the PIN code, it connected OK. Only wiimote cannot connect, report "Permission Denied." I used Bluez 2.25, cannot use Bluez 3.38 'cause platform not supported.

Don't know what to tell you there - the wiimote requires no pin, so this is most likely not a CWiid issue. Have you posted on the bluez forums or your distro forums?
