Use wiimote as mouse in a program
 unsolved

Hey everyone

I know the wminput can be used to make the wiimote act as a mouse on a linux system and it works great.

But I was wondering how I can get this functionality in my own program? The reason I can't just run wminput with ir_ptr then run my program is because I will be running it on a University Machine and I envisage there being some problems.

I have already used the CWiid API to connect a wiimote and read 2 IR Points, All I need to know is how I can then convert this to a pointer on the screen.

Can anyone give me a nudge in the right direction?

Thanks alot Matt

Hi, I also need this kind of functionality for a python program.

I'm already happy with wminput, but I still need to send feedback to the user via the rumble. For example, hovering over buttons should toggle the rumble for a second.

If someone knows how to do this already, please let us know.

    Thanks.

    Riyeth

I 'm interesting in your work. I would like to get the IR data from the wiimote but i don't manage to do it. Could you give me an example ?
