You probably want to install wminput as well - that's the app that connects your wiimote to the input system.

In my response from 5/12, 7:30, you should see it four responses "above" this one. browser:trunk/wminput/README

oh that's right, sorry
I create a file "config.txt" with very simple content : Wiimote.1 = KEY_A
then I ran this : wminput -c ~/config.txt
output : Erreur de segmentation, which would translate to english as "Segmentation fault"
any idea?

wminput looks for configuration files in certain places. You cannot give it a path to a configuration file.
You should read the browser:trunk/wminput/README that dsmith mentioned above. It also has this information in it.
You can create a the folder ~/.cwiid/wminput and put your configuration file there.
Then run: wminput -c config_to_use
